North Guelph Neighbourhoods

North Guelph/Victoria North presents 4 notable neighbourhoods including Riverside Park, Country Club, Live By The Lake, and Brant Avenue.  With the exception of Live By the Lake, these North End communities range from late 1950's (Riverside and Brant Ave) to early 1970's (Country Club). Live by The Lake is a newer subdivision boasting a variety of house styles and price ranges, from affordable starters to large family homes. Big box stores host the majority of consumer retail opportunities including Wal Mart, Home Depot, Staples and Canadian Tire, to name a few. This area is the slowest growing area of Guelph, both residentially and commercially, because of a smaller consumer demand and a lack of available land. The North West side of Guelph hosts mostly manufacturing, while the North East side is residential. While sales remain strong, prices are a little softer here than in the bustling West and South ends.
