West of the Hanlon and south of Stone Rd, Kortright Hills was built in the late 1980’s and boasted mostly larger than average homes, an elementary school and Guelph’s YMCA. In 2002, an area with smaller, more affordable homes was added. With only a convenience store plaza, residents have to cross the Hanlon Expressway to utilize retail amenities and services. Because it is located across the Hanlon expressway, this neighbourhood is not commonly appealing to University Student investors.
